In memoriam

I read in a newsgroup today, that Frank Nauman has died. Without him MiNT would not that, what it is today und EasyMiNT would not exist. This news made me feel very sad because I knew Frank personally. Farewell Frank!

Just replace the old LANGUAGE.LNG with this one.

Unbelievable a new CrippleMiNT version! Now with network card support, unfortunately it doesn't fit on a floppy anymore.

EasyMiNT 1.7 brings better ARAnyM support. Furthermore some improvements and bugfixes. In the next few days an ARAnyM harddisk image will be released, so if you want to install EasyMiNT on ARAnyM, be a little bit patient.

Little bugfix release, XaAES couldn´t be choosed. And there were an error message when installing ghostscript from X11 package. Updated kernel, XaAES and Teradesk with the latest (cvs) versions

Another dumb bug, when selecting kernel 1.16 on some machines a 0 byte MINTxxx.PRG was created. Please load the easymint.prg.zip unzip it and replace it with the old version.

Update

After a long time I´ve updated EasyMiNT again. The new version 1.6 gives the possibility to install Freemint 1.16.x and XaAES from CVS. All you need is included (Kernel, XaAES, Teradesk) and you should only use these.

STacy modifications

I have translated the SuperSTacy text which describes how to put a PAK/3 into the STacy, it also describes some other modifications. I hope you will understand it, because it was not easy for me to translate such a technical subject. If something is wrong or not understandable or if you find it useful, please contact me.

Perry Drechsel was so kind to write a HOWTO which explains the installation of EasyMiNT on 68000 Computers (ST, STe). But it only runs on ST's with 8MB RAM or more, this means a Memory Expansion is mandatory. Furthermore he has made two packages with tools and drivers which are necessary for installation. I wish to thank Perry for his engagement!
